DarkClaw 69 Posted August 3, 2018 (edited) Speaking of which, how many huc should exist right now? I'm not sure these block explorers are correct (I don't have my own huc chain to check for myself at the moment). If block reward started at 10 huc per block and halved at block 2,100,000, then at block 2,381,326 (today) I get: (2.1e6*10 + (2.381326e6 - 2.1e6)*5) = 22,406,630 Perhaps its only the miner reward that halved (from 1 to 0.5 coins) while the game reward stayed the same (at 9 coins)? But either way shouldn't "generated" here be 0.5: Quote Generated: 1.1975 Total Fees: 0.14 https://www.huntercoin.info/blockExplorer/block/b115e00c59ba604522a23299abcc6812ab995a86a7d71f084bab025d8e124368 Quote 1.3375 HUC Generation + Fees https://chainz.cryptoid.info/huc/block.dws?b115e00c59ba604522a23299abcc6812ab995a86a7d71f084bab025d8e124368.htm That second explorer also claims there are 80 million plus huc at that block: Quote Outstanding 85,632,361.3746249 HUC Maybe it is just dealing with HUC incorrectly: Quote Outstanding coins are computed from the transaction outputs, with sometimes burn addresses being zero'ed (by request, and for publicly documented burns). The differences usually come from two sources: miner errors, that forget to account for a fee, can lead to an outstanding coin count being slightly lower than it should theoretically be not notified burns, for ICO/ITO/IPO sometimes unpurchased coins are burned, but if we were not notified of the burn address, we did not zero it (yet) https://chainz.cryptoid.info/faq.dws Then there are strange blocks like this: Quote Generated: 102.025 Total Fees: -101.02431 https://www.huntercoin.info/blockExplorer/block/d4a1d8895a9e50a434dc559b4cbb7eeab07cca88d1b815402dda2ff606208469 https://chainz.cryptoid.info/huc/block.dws?d4a1d8895a9e50a434dc559b4cbb7eeab07cca88d1b815402dda2ff606208469.htm Is the HUC market cap actually 4x higher than usually thought? snailbrain 83 Posted August 6, 2018 the total HUC coins should be about 10x the block number (minus a little amount for when the crown of fortune has not been held) + 85k of premine. The blockexplorer is not run by us (huntercoin.info) it was created by BGB. I'll send him an email to see if he can update his cert.

Thanks, so around 23 million, have any speculation on why the https://chainz.cryptoid.info/huc/explorer is showing 3-4x that? Quote The blockexplorer is not run by us (huntercoin.info) it was created by BGB. I'll send him an email to see if he can update his cert. I see, great. Hopefully they are still around. Also, I see the coin supply got a response on bitcointalk: Quote Quote from: Robin37s- on August 22, 2018, 11:01:14 AM https://chainz.cryptoid.info/huc/ the explorer tell the outstanding is 87,275,513 HUC? so confused That's not correct. You can call "gettxoutsetinfo" on the core daemon to get the real amount (excluding coins on the map), which last I checked was around 23M (as expected). https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=435170.msg44506613#msg44506613 I don't have a huc blockchain, but this shows (at the moment) 222,346,126 coins for xaya. There was a genesis block creation of 222,222,222 coins of which some unknown number will be burned, leaving 123,904 created at one per block which all seems correct. Why doesn't that explorer use such a simple method for determining total coin supply? PS, can a mod move this to the huntercoin section? Either I missed it or it didnt exist when I created this thread.
