Some hilarious names in there ?

There are some strange ones though, like  p/<U+4ECA><U+65E5><U+4E8B>, <U+4ECA><U+65E5><U+7562>. Are these erroneous or some hidden code I don't know ?

Does that mean transactions with that username are going to cost a lot more than one may expect? (due to being made up of a lot of english characters instead of a few chinese)

Yes and no.  The fee is based on the transaction size in bytes, since that is also what incurs costs on miners and full nodes (for bandwidth and disk storage in the blockchain).  So yes, if you have a few Chinese characters but they are represented by many bytes in UTF-8, it means that you have to pay fee for those bytes and "not" the few characters.  But I also think that this is not going to be too bad - I don't know the exact numbers, but these three Chinese characters will likely not be represented by much more than maybe 10 bytes.  And that is still not much compared to the overhead you have in transactions anyway due to the signature and other stuff.  So it probably doesn't matter too much, unless you have names that are very long already in Chinese.

Is there smart contract way for owners to trade names?

This is a big market in the future.

Yes I´m currently developing a database for the Xaya-NetworkExplorer in which I already saved all these names with daily interval

then you can search for a name and it shows if you can own this name or if it is already owned by anyone

Maybe we are releasing today or tomorrow?(but we still have both to agree)

BTW: lol 5 or more names from the list are mine ?

Can you register name on QT Wallet? I don't see any name option.

Thanks

yes

if you go to help, debug, console

in the box you can enter

name_register p/<a name> {}

so for example - like this

name_register p/ninja {}

you will be able to see it by doing

name_list

once it is in the chain

Nice! There's a similar saying in Hindi: Kal kare so aj kar, aaj kare so ab (Do tomorrow's work today and do today's work right now)
