Sphinx sorji Posted March 26, 2019 Sphinx Share Posted March 26, 2019 (edited) As the increase of neoscrypt hashrate, we still need as much as miner to join mining and have xaya more secure and decentralize。 Anyone who help to build AMD miner/add neoscrypt-xaya algo whould be appreciate Bonunty for Build AMD Miner: Mining Software: build nsgminer for windows > 2000 CHI - https://github.com/xaya/nsgminer Edited March 26, 2019 by sorji
Sphinx DarkClaw Posted March 26, 2019 Sphinx Share Posted March 26, 2019 Perhaps 2000 CHI isn't enough. How much will the difficulty/hashrate rise if AMD mining becomes active? It is possible someone could make more chi in a few weeks just continuing to mine.

Personally i have 25% nvidia rigs & 75% amd rigs。 this more like match the GPU rigs share between N/A in market research.

So you think hashrate could increase ~3x if there was a publicly shared working AMD miner?
Sphinx sorji Posted March 27, 2019 Author Sphinx Share Posted March 27, 2019 (edited) nope, the price & hashrate will get balanced, but it's possible that hashratewill 3x when we get list on large pool like f2pool etc。 if we don't have miner ready, will not much help to apply other pool list xaya mining, and we keep 75% miner away from xaya。 Edited March 27, 2019 by sorji

If I am someone currently accumulating CHI (either mining or buying) I want it to stay cheap as long as possible, so I wouldn't want the AMD miner to come out until I am done then. Right now the bounty of 2k chi is only ~.02 BTC (~$80), much easier to keep buying than to spend more than a few hours figuring out the miner... Centaur fancyIX Posted January 4, 2021 Centaur Share Posted January 4, 2021 Seems like I am too late for this bounty. Hope my branch of sgminer still helps. It's an optimized sgminer for mining Xaya on AMD GPU. It's about 35% faster than nsgminer. RX 580 at 650khs, Vega 56 at 1360khs. Check:https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases/tag/0.7.2-1 Usage: -k neoscrypt-xaya -o stratum+tcp://eu.bsod.pw:2534 -u YOUR_WALLET -p x -s 1 -w 256 -I 17 Note: this is not a malware...
