  1. @YNWA You are successfully signed up, the key information is in the Confirmation request. This will also sign you up to receive updates via a newsletter in the near future.
  2. Hi, There are elements of the game that still require the functionality finalising. So I'll answer what I can based on current design plans. This is a unique game world, 620 teams will be the total number of teams available after release. To get involved later on you can join as either a Manager or as a Shareholder in one of the clubs. Before launch the world will be reset and on day one a bidding process will commence to control the clubs. If the shares are legitimately purchased and the majority shareholder changes, this would be a possibility. However such a hostile take over would have consequences if they find themselves struggling later on. Yes the managers salary will be paid into a personal account which can be used as they see fit. As there is only a single game world the promising youth players you successfully sign will become the high valued players of the future, therefore there is a potential for larger returns. If you find the right players at the right price. Currently there are only plans for the use of the stadium facility. Additional facilities are not in the current design, but there is scope to explore these possibilities for future updates as the game is improved over time. Player and Club data will be carried into the game from Soccerwiki.org. The community over there submit any changes to ensure the data is up to date. Other members of the community will then vote on the changes to approve them. I hope some of this information has helped.
  3. No, Soccer Manager Worlds will continue to exist in its current form. SME, while a new game, is in spirit an extension of Worlds not a replacement. Worlds may even become a sort of proving grounds for Managers to be chosen as candidates for teams in SME. For now there is a little bit of a waiting game. There is currently a short internal testing phase before we begin inviting applicants. Invitations will be gradually expanded. We will be releasing information on the game and it's progress as we go.
  4. This has been created with the intention of providing members with a comfortable place to discuss and debate primarily, but not exclusively, the game of Soccer Manager Elite. The Forum presents members with an opportunity to share information, exchange ideas, ask questions and generally just to meet and enjoy the company of other football enthusiasts from around the world. Forum Rules & Guidelines. I. Posting Rules Note: Rules of conduct apply to posting and all profile fields of your user account, including, but not limited to username, user title, web site, avatar, signature, location, or any other informational field that is available for edit in your personal profile. While the Devs / Supervisors and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author (poster) and not the administrators, moderators or Soccermanager (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable. You agree not to post or link to any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, defamatory, hateful, threatening, and sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that Soccermanager / Devs, Supervisors and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit (if the latter happens always remember before getting mad and saying something you may regret that it can be appealed against. Yes, a thread may not have needed to have been closed etc; but closed/deleted threads can always be re-opened). As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised. II. Basic Rules 1. Flaming 1.1 Do not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest. Debates are fine, but argue with the point, not the person. 2. Trolling 2.1 Do not come to this site with the purpose of starting a dispute. Anything seen as trolling may result in you being infractioned by SM Moderator or a straight ban by SM Dev / Supervisor depending on the severity. 2.2 Note that a person disagreeing with your opinion is NOT trolling; keep it civil, even if you're sure the other person is wrong. 3. Spamming/Spam bot attack 3.1 Please do not double post or cross-post the same message in multiple forums. 3.2 You will not mass-PM or mass-email multiple members of this site the same message. 3.3 Worthless posts with no content and nonsensical posts eat up space and waste everyone's time. These are not allowed on any of the boards. 4. Offensive Posts, Links or Images 4.1 Do not use profanity, racial, ethnic, religious, sexual or other slurs, or post any other offensive or vulgar material. We have members from different countries, religions, backgrounds. Even if you express a point of view that is very popular in your culture, it may generate a negative reaction from members in another part of the world so please exercise tact. 4.2 If you post links to other websites that contain offensive or vulgar material then this should be accompanied by a warning alerting other forumers to this. For example, if you wish to post a link to a Youtube music video where the lyrics contain swearwords, please comment that it contains swearwords. A common sense approach should apply and will be applied by the moderators. Mods have absolute discretion to remove any links they deem unsuitable (the inclusion of a warning will not alter this). 4.3 Do not post any images that be construed as sexually gratifying, offensive or racist in nature. e.g. women in bikinis, underwear or any semi naked picture. 5. No Disclosure of Personal Information 5.1 Do not disclose any other member's email, real name, address, phone number, IP address, or other personal information. 5.2 This includes the posting contents of emails and private messages without the sender's consent. 5.3 Do not bring personal disputes into the forums with Moderators or Supervisors as bans and warnings issued to other users are considered personal information. 6. Misleading Titles 6.1 The subject line of the post should be as informative as possible about the content of the post. This also reduces duplicate posts. Deliberately misleading titles may lead to warnings and/or infractions being issued. 7. Duplicate Posts 7.1 Use the search tool at the top before posting and make sure someone has not already done a post similar to yours. 7.2 Duplicate or similar threads are subject to being merged or closed at the discretion of the moderator. 8. Playing the Role of Moderator 8.1 Members that are not a moderator should not correct posters like one. If you have a problem with a post, use the "Report This Post" button, rather than playing the parent. More often than not, that causes more problems than it fixes. Let us handle what is ours to handle. 8.2 This includes (but the list is not exhaustive) reminding another user to use the search tool; pointing out a duplicate thread or accusing another member of posting spam. 9. Attacking/Disobeying the Moderators 9.1 If you disagree with the actions of a Moderator, it is fine to do so as long as it is done so in a polite and constructive manner by PM. Creating threads on the matter instead is not a suitable method of resolving an issue, and said threads may be closed. 9.2 If you are unable to discuss and resolve an issue amicably, then please refer your grievance to a Supervisor; providing evidence to support your side of the dispute. 9.3 Dancing around the rules, purposely skirting them just to invoke a reaction is not advised. If you are deemed to be doing this then appropriate action may be considered. 9.4 No posting on behalf of someone who's banned. That'll probably get you banned, too. The idea of being banned is that they're no longer a part of this online forum community and are no longer allowed to interact here. 9.5 No making threads that give glory to banned people. It's not a violation to mention them in passing but no threads that focus on them. Prohibited threads include "What banned member do you miss/would you bring back?" type of threads. They're banned; don't give them that attention. If a Dev / Supervisor or Moderator gives you specific instructions in a warning, and you blatantly disregard it, you are subject to being banned. 10. One Account per User/ Ban Circumvention 10.1 Multiple accounts are not permitted for members of the forum. 10.2 Never create another account in order to get around a ban. This may lead to this account being banned and your banning time being extended on your first and at an exponential rate thereafter. 10.3 If you have a grievance with being banned then please contact a Supervisor. 10.4 If you feel that you have a good reason for needing more than one account, contact a Dev / Supervisor and ask for permission prior to setting up a new account. 10.5 The actions of trying to get around a certain ban that has been put on you such as registering under a new e-mail, username, or IP address will not be tolerated. This could highly result in a permanent ban on all levels (not just forum but the actual gameworlds that you are in), so please use the appeal system and wait until your case has been resolved. 10.6 Using an account solely to report posts is not permitted. 11. Thread Hijacking and general etiquette 11.1 Taking a thread off-topic to pursue one's own agenda is not permitted. 11.2 Excessive use of caps is widely regarded online as shouting, so please avoid this. 11.3 Please avoid the use of excessively large fonts. 12. Abuse of Report Bad Post 12.1 Multiple reports per thread, duplicate or frivolous reports will be deemed abuse and subject to warning and/or infraction. Every report is addressed. Please do not report something more than once. 13. Plagiarism/Ripping of Material 13.1 Copying content created by others be this images, prose or any other medium is not allowed. 13.2 This includes copying from other forums. Permission needs to be obtained in advance from anyone whose content you wish to reproduce or copy in any way before posting it on this forum. 14. Use of Inappropriate Language 14.1 Playing word games to get around the filter system are not permitted. e.g. – “Its*sucking fhit. The people who make these rules are*cunning stunts.” Any member that tries to play word games to get passed filter will be punished appropriately. 14.2 Replacing words with punctuation to infer a swearword, or part editing words, is also not permitted. e.g.- “This is a load of $£%!”; or “p!ss off”; and will again be punished appropriately. 14.3 Substituting swear words for “urban” alternatives is not permitted. e.g. “Flooking hell!”. Moderators are quite capable of looking suspicious variations of words up in online “Urban Dictionaries” or “Profanisaurus” publications. 14.4 Substituting swear words for abbreviations is not permitted. Any member that posts an abbreviation will be punished appropriately. 14.5 We are sure there are many more correct allowed words that can take the place of these, plus it keeps posts looking more neat and tidy. III. Serious Infringement Rules These rules are separated from the basic rules as the penalties for breaching these rules carry the severest penalties. 17. Advertising 17.1 Posting of advertisements for products or services, links to auctions, affiliate links, links to promote websites, and so forth is not allowed. Only exemption to the above is with approval from both Soccermanager and Xaya only. No Supervisor/Moderator can allow any thread containing advertising without Soccermanager’s and Xaya's prior consent. 17.2 Links to commercial or business-related sites are not permitted in signatures. 17.3 The use of spam bots is not permitted. Any account suspected of being administered by a spam bot will be immediately banned. 18. Racism, Homophobic comments, sexist comments. 18.1 Any comments deemed to be Racist, Homophobic or Sexist will result in an immediate IP ban from a Moderator, which may be made permanent on review by a Supervisor or Dev, dependent on the context it was used in. 19. Hacking into Another Account 19.1 If you are caught hacking into another users forum account, then you will be banned. It is also very likely that action will be taken against in-game accounts at the discretion of SM. 20. General Trouble Making 20.1 If you are thought to be causing trouble by a Moderator they will notify Supervisors and if they agree then there is a big possibility you will be removed from the forum. 20.2 This includes leading another poster into a thread or “board trap” where one member tries to make the other one snap by messaging them or subtly suggesting something that would cause one to argue back. Our Mods are fair and if they pass judgment that you are here to cause problems and you don’t agree then again contact Supervisor . 20.3 This includes posting with intent to be deliberately disruptive or continuing to post views/information that is without obvious interest to the wider forum community. 20.4 This includes posts that can be construed as being detrimental to both the forum and the game or encouraging others to act in this manner. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- These rules are subject to change. We reserve the right to remove, edit or move posts at our discretion. These policies, while sounding official, are meant as a way to reduce any confusion over what is and isn’t allowed. Please to not be put off by them. Welcome to the forums and we hope you enjoy participating. Many thanks,

  6. Welcome the Soccer Manager Elite forum. Soccer Manager Elite (SME) is a new generation of soccer management simulator, developed in partnership with Soccer Manager LTD, built on the XAYA blockchain gaming platform. With over 10 years experience developing football management simulators in both single and multiplayer environments. Together we are bringing an enhanced edition of the successful game: Soccer Manager Worlds, which has seen millions of users build and maintain their teams over its 10+ year lifespan, competing against other real world managers. SME will feel familiar to managers from any management simulator background. With negotiations to buy and sell players and tactical decisions determining the success of your team. But this game isn't just about the managers! Teams are owned by shareholders. Manager contracts can be offered dictating wages, role limits (ability to buy and sell without shareholder permission) performance bonuses and contract length. Managerial candidates can be proposed by all shareholders to be agreed. Managers that don't meet the performance requirements set by shareholders will be at risk of losing the position and be replaced with a new candidate. Teams can be owned by thousands of players. Shares can be diluted. You can even be a majority shareholder and the manager. Only a limited number of clubs will be available to manage in one exclusive game world, "The Elite Championship". 620 of the world’s leading clubs will be available on launch, competing in a 5 tiered pyramid league system; As it runs on blockchain technology, it’s completely decentralised. No servers are required as it works completely P2P just like Bitcoin. The world carries on and cannot be shutdown by any third party. As the game code is open it’s provably fair and allows people to gain crypto currency through skill and teamwork. There is a fixed supply of the in-game currency which means the more players there are the more valuable it gets. This is a new era for gaming, and a new era for soccer management simulations. If you have any questions, please post on this board. Regards, SM Alex.
